"Details": "fficers responded to a rollover crash Saturday evening that sent several people to the hospital.\n\r\nOfficers were dispatched eastbound Highway 12 near Rimrock Road around 6:40 p.m.\n\r\nWitnesses reported seeing two vehicles speeding in this area and zooming in and out of traffic. One of the vehicles, a red sedan, lost control and rear-ended an uninvolved SUV.\n\r\nThe SUV rolled over as a result of this crash. Two adults were able to get out of the vehicle and two children were trapped inside. Two strangers passing by stopped to help get the children safely out of the vehicle.\n\r\nThe driver of the red sedan was arrested for reckless driving with endangerment to safety. He was taken to the Dane County Jail. "Details": "A man was arrested Wednesday following a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian last week.\n\r\nOfficers were called to a gas station along the 1400 block of Northport Dr. around 7:20 p.m. on Friday.\n\r\nThe suspect swerved to avoid another vehicle and ended up pinning a woman between his truck and the propane tank rack. He then sped away from the area.\n\r\nOfficers located the suspect in his truck along the 500 block of Northport Dr. He once again sped away when officers approached him and deployed tire spikes.\n\r\nThe truck was later found unoccupied, with flat tires, in the area of Warner Park.\n\r\nA K9 unit and a drone were used in the search for the suspect. No arrests were made Friday night, but police were able to identify the suspect.\n\r\nHe was taken into custody on Wednesday at a probation and parole office.\n\r\nJohnny L. "Details": "The Madison Police Department is investigating after a passenger attacked a Metro bus driver causing him to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a restaurant.\n\r\nOfficers and members of the Madison Fire Department were dispatched to 1 Dempsey Road around 7:45 p.m.\n\r\nThe bus is still partially inside the restaurant as of 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Madison Fire Department Heavy Urban Rescue Team is on location to clear debris and shore up the building.\u00a0\n\r\nAt this time, Milwaukee Street is open to traffic with reduced lanes. "Details": "On 02/13/2025, at 9:57 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Thompson Dr. in reference to individuals shooting in the parking lot.\r\n\u00a0\r\nOfficers quickly arrive on scene and locate an individual with gunshot wounds. Paterson St. A short time later, officers received multiple reports of a white sedan that had crashed into a second unoccupied parked car in the 2300 block of Atwood Ave. Witnesses reported seeing two individuals fleeing from the vehicle on foot.\n\r\n\u00a0MPD, with assistance from the Dane County Sheriff's Office, Capitol PD, and Mapel Bluff PD, conducted a search of the area with the assistance of K9 officers and drones. The suspects were not located at this time.
