    "Details": "Officers with the Madison Police Department responded to a fight Monday afternoon near Vel Phillips Memorial High School.\n\r\nNot all those involved in the fight were students at Memorial.\n\r\nThe fight occurred off school property.\n\r\nStaff called police around 12:30 p.m. when the involved students returned to campus. These students were also involved in a small disturbance inside the school.\n\r\nDuring our response, one student attempted to fight a parent who arrived at the school.\n\r\nA 16-year-old male was arrested for resisting and disorderly conduct. Another 16-year-old male was arrested for resisting and trespassing.\n\r\nBoth were taken to the Juvenile Reception Center.\n\r\nA notice about the incident was sent home to Memorial families.\n\r\nThe investigation is ongoing.\nReleased 02/24/2025 at 3:30 PM by PIO Stephanie Fryer",

    "Details": "The Madison Police Department is investigating after a man was stabbed on the city's west side.\n\r\nOfficers were dispatched to an apartment building along the 1100 block of Morraine View Dr. around 11 a.m. on Friday.\n\r\nThe victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries.\n\r\nHe and the suspect are known to one another.
