    "Details": "The Madison Police Department is investigating after two homes in the city were hit with pro-Palestinian vandalism within the past week.\n\r\nOn July 4, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Fifth Street around 7:40 a.m.\n\r\nThe suspect used red spray paint to write a message in the driveway and poured fake blood near the door of the home.\u00a0\n\r\nWitnesses reported an air horn going off as the suspect was leaving the area.\n\r\nTwo hours later, officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Keyes Ave. for another report of damage to property.\n\r\nA homeowner reported someone used red spray paint to write a message in the driveway of the home. Fake blood was also left outside the front of this home.\n\r\nDigital evidence is being reviewed in both cases.\n\r\nAnyone with information is asked to contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014 or online at p3tips.com.     "Details": "A driver ran into the water following a roll-over crash on the city's east side Sunday night.\n\r\nOfficers were dispatched to Atwood Ave. just south of Walter St. around 8:40 p.m.\n\r\nWitnesses told officers the driver fled the area and was seen walking into Lake Monona.\n\r\nFor more than an hour, officers tried talking with the driver to get him out of the water and back on shore.\n\r\nMadison Fire's Lake Rescue boat was deployed to make contact with the driver.\u00a0\n\r\nThe driver was transported to the hospital before being taken to the Dane County Jail for resisting arrest and felony bail jumping.\n\r\nNo other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.\nReleased 07/10/2025 at 3:43 PM by PIO Stephanie Fryer",

    "Details": "An injured man, carrying a unicycle, liquor and a bag of tools, was arrested for burglary early Thursday morning.\n\r\nOfficers first noticed the man walking through the Buckeye Parking lot, located along the 200 block of W. Gilman St. around 11 p.m. on Wednesday.\n\r\nThe man began spitting at officers as they approached him.\n\r\nOfficers then arrested the man for discharging bodily fluids at police.\n\r\nAs he is being booked in for these charges, officers are dispatched to a home along the 100 block of W. Johnson Street.\n\r\nA woman arrived home around 12:45 a.m. on Thursday to find someone had broken into her garage.\n\r\nSome of the items missing were a unicycle, bike lock and liquor.     "Details": "The owner of a commercial building called police to report an unauthorized party occurring onsite.\n\r\nOfficers were dispatched to the 1400 block of E. Washington Ave. around 2:15 a.m. early Sunday morning.\n\r\nWhen officers arrived on scene, there were approximately 200 people and 75 vehicles in the building and parking lot.\n\r\nOccupants were found distributing alcohol in large quantities without a liquor license. Main St. around 1:40 a.m. early Wednesday morning.\n\r\nThe argument started in the bar and escalated outside. One man started to run away as officers arrived on scene. While officers are talking to him, a woman attempted to intervene and began threatening officers. While in custody, she attempted to bribe officers to release her.\n\r\nJayla J.
