As a reminder, any ignitable firework, including sparklers, are not allowed in city parks. The Madison Police Department will have a police presence in both Garner Park and Elver Park on July 4th to ensure a safe holiday for everyone.\n\r\nFurthermore, officers will be patrolling our various city parks this weekend to ensure everyone's safety. Officers then tell her she needs to clean it up at which point she throws it at the officers and hits their squad car. MPD then move in to arrest her and during the arrest she begins to resist. Once in the squad, she kicked an officer. The female, Rebecca Brauer, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting, and Battery to Law Enforcement.\nReleased 07/02/2025 at 10:17 AM by P.O. Shortly after, officers receive information about a Weapons Offense in the 200 block of Cardinal Lane. When officers arrived, they learn that some individuals had located the vehicle that was driving recklessly and confronted the driver about this. During the argument a male retrieved a firearm and started to waive it around.\n\r\nThe male, Roman Guzman, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct While Armed.
